GABRIEL'S GULLY JUBILEE.

(To the Editor.) Sir,—Re the Old Pioneer Miners' Jubilee which is to take place at Lawrence, starting on the 20th of May next, I have to report that since the 20th of last month we have added considerably to our number. We have now had reports from about 170 all told and are making strenuous efforts to bring matters to a head. Many of the old pioneers are getting anxious and note that they are looking forward with pleasure to the re-union. Everything is working smoothly and the public responding in a generous manner. Every old pioneer has a hearty welcome given him, and many have notified that if spared in health that they will be pleased to be present. James Robertson, Mayor.
