(From Our Own Correspondent.) Dunedin this day. A banquet was tendered last night to country visitors by the Otugo District M.U.I 0.0. F. in honor of Centenary celebrations. The Baptist Conference now meeting here passed a resolution demanding absolute prohibition of bookmakers under heavy penalties from all race meetings. 'Che Anglican Church Mission at Wellington proved a g r eat success. At the closing services last night all the churches were full.
