POLICE v. BEADY. Ibook gift tea. AN APPEAL. MR JUSTICE CHAPMAN, on appeal, quashed the conviction against Mr Brady, the Gisborne Agent, for selling " Book Gift " Tea with a coupon attached. His Honor ruled that the system adopted by the proprietors of " Book Gift" Tea of giving coupons as a means of exchange for the books was perfectly legal and did not come within the means of the Act. This decision had the full concurrence of the other judges. > It will be good news to the many Traders who have experienced the demand for " Book Gift" Tea to know that they can continue to sell it without fear 6f breaking the law.
