S.MARY'S ORPHANAGE.
THANKS.
Sir,—l want,- through the medium of your columns, to tender my sincere thanks to the various residents of Queenstown for their kindness to us during onr recent visit: to Mrs Anderson for the loan of her houses the Misses Donne, Mesdames Lee, PatAe, Mayne, Aldridge, and Mr Wenkheim, all o. whom sent us gifts of various kinds, ami 1 i t, but not least, to the members of St. ? ter's Ladies' Guild for their lovely gift o; clothiug. I may say that as the Orpiu.wge receives no State aid, and has to sup_-;rt 22 children and is entirely depeudint' on the generosity of the general public, such gifts and help are most warml- ..^predated.—l am, etc., Sistee Ernestine. Superior. 71,&ei.h St., Dunedin.
