LAND SALES. Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co. Ltd, report having recently effected the following 40 sales of farm and station properties in Ota go and Southland : 1. On account of Mr Thos. Mitchell, of Hamilton, Waikato, his Warwick Downs Estate, near Dipton, containing 10,381 acres of freehold and 9782 acres of leasehold, to Mr W. J. Wadsworth, late of Brooksdale, Tapanui. Warwick Downs is a compact property, the freehold consisting of sweet, low-lying land, of which a considerable portion is arable, while the whole is excellent sheep county, carrying over 12,000 sheep and about 300 head of cattle.
