FROM OUR OWK CORRBSPONDBNT. Dunf.dis this day. A number of schools have been closed owing to the measles epidemic. Tho Otago Harbour Board are sending their petition to all local bodies throughout the province. Price Bros, of Thames have obtained ft contract for supplying 20 locomotives for the N.Z. railways. The Reciprocal treaty with Australia continues to be condemned all over the colony and its rejection is certain. Good judges declare that Sir J. G. Ward's land proposals will be carried and that to talk of defeat and dissolution is pure waste of words.
