During the rest of the conversation the 10mpanioi ot Nauseu reveals his ignorance of Ibseu's " Klein Egoll," and wants to know what Rontgen rays are ! His Tromso friend gcod-naturedly warns him that if ho asks anymore questions he will " wallop him, as the Japs licked the Chinese,'" or 11 as the Cubans licked Martines Campos." " A war between China and Japan ? A revolution in Cuba— I see it is useless to try to hear all the news in one day !''
