MARRIAGE.
Mrs S. O'Kane, proprietress of the Supreme Court Hotel, Queenstnwn, and Mr John Timpany r of Limehills, fere united in the holy bands yesterday morning at 8.30, the Rev R. Blair of the Presbyterian Church performing the duties of the ceremony. The marriage took place at the hotel, and a few friends of the parties concerned were present. Miss H. O'Kane was the bridesmaid, whilst Mr T. Timpany, brother of the bridegroom, acted in the capacity of best man. The bride was married in a pretty costume of heliotrope silk, trimmed with lighter shade. Her travelling dress was of navy blue. The happy pair went away by the 10 o'clock steamer en route for Dunedin, where they intend remaining for a few days. A large crowd assembled at the wharf, whence they took their departure in the Ben Lomond steamer amidst showers of rice and hearty good wishes for their future happiness.
