She'll be »oon goiu' back to the college, Whur wisdom is breathed with the air; She's a wonder already fur knowledge, Though she's gentle an' winsome and fair It eertamly beats all creation How Hanner them syllable flings Ef we happen to turn conversation On " isms " an "asms " an' things. There is some folks roun' here thet's oh jectin' An' sayin' she's puttiu' on airs ; But there whs never any expeotiu' Thet people would mind their afftirs. When you've got eddyeation like Hanner, A half of the comfort it brings, Is to talk in a free, off-hand'manner 'Bout "isms " an " asms " an' things.
