WEDDING BELLS.

An event of unusual interest took place on Tuesday morning, namely the marriage of Mm Florence Evans, daughter of Mr F. Evans, of Cherry Farm, Fraakton, to Mr Philip Hoare, second son of the Rev o*Bryen Hoare of •• Rostellan," Christchurch. The ceremony, which took place at 8 o'chck at St Peter's 'Jhurcb, Queeustown, was performed by the Rev A. D. Mitchell, vicar. The bride, who looked very nice, wore a pretty dress of silver grey Japanese silk, trimmed with pataementerie and chiffon, she also had a handsome white hat and leathers, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet.
