Skinner (Thomas and Edward) are anxiously inquired for by brother Frederick. Thomas left Clapham about 1536 in the merchant ship Black Yoke (Captain Miller), and was last seen by Geo. Tapson, a sailor, about 1844, in Wellington, New Zealand. Edward left home nearly 50 years back, and has no" been heard of since. It will be a source of satisfaction, even to those Who have not a family interest In the navy ,to learn that this Christmas the Channel Squadron will be at home ports. Plum-pudding, it is true, is now, owing to the science of the con» fectioner, an article that will "travel," but, after all, the pudding is never so sweet as when eaten at home, where Its very indigestibleness is forgotten in the associations it jtftags about.
