First piize, £5 ; second, £2 10s ; third, £l. Fifth Match—Between teams of the' Volunteer Companies of Lake District. Each team to consist of seven men. Seven shots at 200, 400, and 500 yards. First prize, £10; second, £5 f third, £3; also a trophy to the highest individual scorer in each team. In this match the six winners of Major Brown's Belt must compete, or by absence forfeit their chance ; their individual scoring deciding the final ownership. The Belt competitors to tire in a squad by themselves. Sixth Match—Open to all comers. Five shots at 200, 400 and 500 yards ; any position. First prize, £3 and trophy : second, £2 and trophy ; third, £1 10; 4th, sth, 6th and 7th, £1 each. Champion Shot of District—The highest aggregate scorer in Nos. 1, 2, and 6 matches to he declared the Champion tor the year, and presented with a Hold Medal contributed by the Ladies of the District.
