TO STAND THIS SEASON IN THE WAKATIP DISTRICT, THE PURE-BRED IMPORTED CLYDESDALE STALLION, PERFECTION, Rising Three Years Old, recently imported and carefully selected by Messrs Simmons and M'lntosh for the Invercargill district. PgRFECTIOH is a beautiful bay with black points, rising three years old, stands \6h bands high on short legs, displaying fine symmetry combined with great muscular strength, capital action, fine temper, and without a blemish—so requisite in a cart horse. He was bred by, and purchased at a high price from, A. M. M'Kinnon, Esq., Mountford, Tasmania, expressly for New Zealand. He was got by the unrivalled horse, Baron of Clyde, imported by the late Mr David Nesbit, and sold to Mr Ayers for the sum of 750 guineas, and has never been beaten in his day. Dam Violet, winner of three first prizes, by Sir Colin Campbell, imported by the late James Ross, Esq., winner of thirteen first prizes, and left more good stock than any other horse in the colonies. Perfection gained five first prizes against all the best draught stallions of the same age in the Shows of the different Agricultural Societies. He took first prize as a foal at foot at Longford, and also as a yearling at same place the following year, and the same day he was awarded the champion prize for the best of the horse kind. He also took first prize as a two-year-old at the Westbury Show, and first at Midland Show, thus proving Perfection to be one of the best and finest Clydesdale horses the world could produce. TO TRAVEL TH T S SEASON IN THE ARROW & QUEENSTOWN DISTRICTS THE CLYDESDALE ENTIRE HORSE, LORD PAISLEY. ORD PAISLEY was bred by John Barr, Esq., Clutha; is a beautiful black and stands 17 hands high, with great action and good symmetry, His aire, "Lord Paisley," was imported from Renfrewshire, Scotland, by Robert Miller, Esq., Taieri, in 1864, and obtained the second prize at , Dunedin Show the same year. "* Dam, the mare Blanch, was imported by David Nesbitt, Esq., from Tasmania, who took the first prizes at the several Societies' Shows—namely, Dunedin, Taieri, Tokomairiro and Clutha—for the best mare of symmetry in the yard. Lord Paisley gained the first prize at the Clutha Uhow in 1868, and the first prize at Tokomairiro the same year, for the best three-year-old colt of his age. He also obtained the silver medal at the Tokomairiro Show in 1869 for the best Colonia horse in the yard, and he has proved himself a sure stock-getter. Lord Paisley will put up at L. Miller's, Esq., Miller's Flat, where there is a good grass paddock of about 40 acres for mar°s from a distance, free of charge. Every care taken without responsibility.
