No person to enter or nominate a horse unless he be a subscriber of not less than three sovereigns to the finds. Moreover, no person to enter or nominate a horse not his bona-fide property unless the said subscription of three sovereigns be paid for the actual owner also, under forfeiture of any race such horse may win. The word " district" shall mean the boundary of the Wakatip district, as defined by the Goldfields Department. No entry will be received for any of the races except upon this condition—that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing, shall be decided by the Stewards, or a majority of them, whose decisions upon all points connected with the carrying out of the above programme shall be final. The words " district horse" shall mean horses that have been in the district from the 16th January, 1865. All entries to be sent in previous to 8 p.m. on 14th March, 1865, addressed to the Stewards at Powell's Family Hotel, Queensiown, in sealed envelopes, containing entrauce money, qualification money, full description and age of horse, and color to be worn by thr> rider, under penalty of two for iiLgkct oi twine.
