I wish to place on record my admiration and appreciation of tho splendid performance and running of the "Sport" Model Harley-Davidson I purchased from you in January. 1 hare uaed this machine for the past si* months during my appointment as traveller in both islands, my work taking m« over some of the roughest roads it is possible to encounter, the North Island being particularly bad in this respect. While in the North Island I averaged about 75 miles per day and covered approximately 7000 miles. During that time I esperienccd no trouble whatever, mechanical or otherwise, nor did I have to tighten a single bolt. The petrol consumption was also very low, averaging about 90 miles per gallon, which in itself, is a splendid asset owing to the high price of petrol at the present time. To anyone in search of a machine in which ease of operation, staunchness of construction and mechanical perfection are incorporated, I shall always take the greatest pleasure in recommending the " Sport" Model ' Harley-Davidson.
