“GINGER, IT UP.”
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I had two good laughs whet reading the papers this morning. Ons was caused by you and the other was over a cabled account that was sent from Sydney describing how the reporters were vainly trying to head . Conan Doyle off from Spiritualism, as if he were a runaway steer. The Mayor'stheory as to why the' psychic conditions for materialisations round the Great Lakes is new to me, but Admiral Usborne Moore, who made three special trips to that district, says it is the cold, dry air that is found favourable. Another reason advanced is that the happy hunting grounds of the Red Indians are thereabouts, and they are powerful magnetising snirits. The white man is not the only pebble on the golden shore.—l am, etc., PETER TROLOVE.
