PRINTING TRADE AWARD.
TPee Press Association.'! ■ WELLINGTON, October 14. The employers' representatives in the printing trades recently submitted a number of points to the Arbitration Court for interpretation. As the employers were anxious to fully comply with the award this week, although it l-,as not yet been issued, ,Mr Pirani to-day wired to the Registrar of the Court:—" Could you kindly wire me to-day whether decision arrived at on any point submitted?" In reply he received the following telegram in the afternoon from the Registrar:— " Awaiting views of unions concerned." As the employers' unions had already submitted their views, the reference, of course, is to the workers' unions. At a meeting of the Wellington Master Printers' Union this afternoon, at which Mr Gamble, president! of the Master Printers' Association, was present, it was decided to await the decision of the Arbitration Court.
