A hundred raiders attacked Cookstown police barracks, County Tyrone One constable was seriously wounded, and two were captured. Reinforcements relieved the barracks. One assailant was wounded. A conference of Irish delegates to tho National Union of Railwayraen passed a resolution that tho present murders and outrages were inevitablo as the result of the Government's policy in not governing Ireland in accordance with tho wishes of the people. Tho resolution adds; "Wo condemn outrages by all parties and appeal to the Irish people to protect human life and property. Wo appeal to the Government to prevent provocation by sending munitions to Ireland." A resolution asks Mr Lloyd George to receive an Irish deputation to-mor-row, which may make proposals enabling a solution to be reached.
