Yesterday’s influenza registrations numbered 24, and tho_ number was reassuring, but for the fact of eignt fresh cases on tho West Coask Although precautions should be maintained, there is reason to hope that tlie outbreak is nearly past, but it will be a day or two before the effect of the congregating of large crowds in the city is quite apparent.
