ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
FARM LABOURER FOUND DEAD[Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, May IS. Anthony Patterson, a Bingle man, twenty-live years of age, a farm labourer, was found dead in his bedroom at tho Occidental Hotel this morning. There was a wound in the centre of his forehead and a 22 Steven’s rifle with a discharged cartridge in the chamber was lying cn Lite floor. The body was partly on the bed and its position seemed to indicate that deceased had been shot while sitting on the bed. On the dressingtable was a box of .22 cartridges. Deceased was last seen alive yesterday at about 1,45 p.ra,, when ho went to his room.
