81-WEEKLY BULLETIN, The bi-weekly bulletin regarding influenza was as follows:—■ North Canterbury—Sixlfr-seven mild, two pneumonic. Christchurch--Thirty-oight mild, two pneumonic. New Brighton—Eleven mild. Lytteltoa—Pour mild. . woodend—Three mild. Leesfon— Three mild. Lincoln—Two mild. Rangiora, Loburn, Halswell, AmberLey, Killmchy and Southbridge—One mild each.

Ashburton-Shc mild. Methven— One mild. Westerfield—One mildSouth Canterbury—Fifteen mild, three pneumonic. Gcraldine—Six mild, three pneumonic.

Orari—Four mild. Waimate—Two mild. Fan-he— Two mild. Timaru—One mild. Total—Ninety-one. SLIGHT INCREASE YESTERDAY. There was a slight increase in yesterday s notifications of influenza, the total being fourteen, made up as follows :

North Canterbury— Eight mild, oue pneumonic

South Canterbury—Five mild. At the Christchurch Hospital there wero five severe cases and twenty-one mild. Two patients were admitted, bin no death was reported. Or Telford, District Health Officer, stated yesterday that it was too early yet to say what the effect would bo of the recent large gatherings in the city, but so far the prospects were satisfactory.
