H.M.S. RENOWN v. CANTERBURY. To-morrow afternoon, on the oval at Lancaster Park, a team from H.iU.S. Renown wih play a representative Canterbury team. The visitors’ etevon is composed of several of Eng.and’s best players, and the local men. anticipate a hard game. The Canterbury team is the same that represented tho province against Auckland in tho Shield match last season, with the exception that P. Berry and H. Key replace J. Sopej- and S. G. Holland. The game will commonco at 3 pm. and will be controlled by Messrs W. Simpson and H. Hatch. Tlio following aro the teams: H.M.S. Renown—Commander Rogers, En-ginoer-Lieuteuant-Commander Hugill, Captain Eastman, Lieutenant Leake, Lieutenant Richards, Surgeon-Lieutenant Meek, Lieutenant Previt, Lieutenant O’Donnoll, Midshipman Butler, Midshipman Colley and Midshipman Rands. Canterbury—J. Robb (goal), P. Marlin and P. Berry (three-quarters), J. Pnscoe, B. Morris, S. Mauder (halves), H. ICev, IV. Bell, 11. Bell, A. Beaton, H. Throp (forwards).
