Acceptances foi the North. Otago Jockey Club’3 winter meeting will close at seven o’clock’to-night.

Negambo easily beat Kauri King in a round over the hurdlesOld Mungindi was better than Gladful in two rounds over the big fences, though both failed over the second obstacle of the double. Coldstream, Lochella, Gold Sonlt and Pretty Bobby were associated in a round over the hurdles. Goldstream was doing best -at the finish. Lord Nagar shaped well with Omaihu over the hurdles. The jumping of both was good, and the pace was fast. Khartoum has thrown off his lameness and he moved freely. Zola went two rounds on the flat at a strong pace, finishing up fast. Vasil koff ran five furlongs in lmin 6sec. Matatane went six furlongs, as did Missgold. Luke, Wirikino, Sir Donald, All Over, Yankee Jack and Ruddy did useful work.
