KOLTCHAK’B FATE. By Telegraph—Pros* Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cablo Association. LONDON, March 3. Colonel Ward, speaking in the city, said that Koltchak was a clean-souled Russian patriot. Tho Allies persuaded him to accept the task of establishing a stable government, but finally deserted him. The French Gommander-in-Chief actually surrendered Koltchak to his enemies in the middle of tho night, and within an hour Koltchak was destroyed in tho backyard. When the Allies changed their policy towards the Bolsheviks they were not compelled to go t-lie length of absolute treachery.

BRITISH GENERAL CAPTURED.

CONSTANTINOPLE, March 4. It is reported that the Third Kuban Corps has joined the Bolsheviks and has seized Ekaterinodar, taking prisoner tho British General, Holman, tho head the military mission with Denikin.

PARIS, March 4. An emergency meeting of the Council of the League of Nations will ho held hero next week to appoint a commission of investigation in Russia. BERLIN, March 4. The Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly approved of the sending of a commission to Russia to study the economic situation.
