PRINCE OF WALES.
At the meeting of the Lyttelton sorougb Council last evening a letter fas received from the Prime Minister itating that the council's application hat sufficient time should he allocated a allow of a fitting welcome being pven to the Prince of Wales on his .rrival in Lyttelton, had been referred o the Iproper quarters, with a recommendation that it he included in the proposed itinerary to be submitted to the Prince's advisers. The Mayor stat--3d that, as the Prince would not reach Lyttelton until May, there would be time enough at the council's next meeting to consider what arrangements shall b* mad* for a receßtio.au
