1 ' PAPANUI. j Tho monthly meeting of the Papanut' Sciiv/ol l/oumuttee was held on Monday night { present—Messrs Patrick (chairman). Wood, Barnard, Hadley and Grimwood, and; Mesdames Barnard and Woodham. Cones* pondenoe was received from Maa Duncan, stating that she had resigned her position as nusuess of the Bligh's Boad School. The secretary was instructed to write to Miaa Duncan thanking her fox the services she Ihadi rendered in the cause of education in the* district for a period exceeding twenty years, j The chairman recommended the formation of a publio committee to take stops to eecuxa some tangible recognition of Miss Duncan's services.
