PIGEON FLYING.

The Canterbury Pigeon Flying Olnb flew a race from Kajtoko on Saturday, November 29.1 Ono hundred raid eleven, birds were sent, divided amongst nineteen owners competing. The birds were liberated bv the stationmaster at: 9.25 a.m., in dull and showery weather, .with a slight sou’-west wind. Owing to the adverse conditions, none of the birds reached home on the day of the toss, hut several loits timed in early next morning. The winner turned out to be D.
