LYTTELTON REGATTA. Entries for tho Lyttelton regatta on Now Year’s Day closed last cyoning with tho secretary (Mr W. C. Cleary). Tho majority of entries, especially for tho rowing events, ore a record, and the regatta promises to bo a very successful ono. , It has been docided to hold a torchlight procession and fireworks display in the evening.
