A match between Ellesmere and Canterbury teams was played in the Springs ton Domain on Tuesday. The weather wae ideal and a very enjoyable game w&fl played. Xne match, resulted in a win for Ellesmere by 78 runs. For Ellesmere W. P. Guiney played a fine innings for 100, giving only one chance near the end of hie innings.
