Mr V. G. Day, S-M-, prodded at the siting of the Magistrate’# Court on Saturday.

A second offender, William Henry* Fisher, on a charge of drunkenness in Lichfield Street, was fined 10s, in default forty-eight hours’ imprisonment. Harry Munro, thirty-two years of age, pleaded guilty to charges of having been found drunk in Hawksbury Avenue and having committed a breach of hia prohiibtion order. On the charge of drunkenness, accused was convicted and ordered to pay, 15s expenses. On the second charge he was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon, the Magistrate warning him that if he was brought up again he would be sent to Roto Roa for three years.
