A NEW PAPiTY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Boater’s Telegrams. OTTAWA, October 4. Tho cardinal principles of the party include tho maintenance of tho British connection with a basis of equal partnership with the Motherland within the Empire, tho autonomy of the Dominion and tho supremacy of Parliament in all questions, including war, to be safeguarded: tho retention of a standing army sufficient in size only to meet domestic requirements; in tho event of future wars Canada to bo consulted by tho Motherland ns an essential preliminary to aid being expected. Sir Robert Borden suggests that tho Government shall carry on till the next spring session.
