The Australian Jockey Club Ctommittee has that owing to tli© prohibition of racing and a proposal to use the club premises at Randwick as a hospital, it is impossible at present to make a definite statement regarding the autumn meeting. If not held before May 17 it may be necessary to abandon it altogether.
