NURSE MAUDE'S DEPOT.

LESS STRENUOUS TIME. The position at Nurse Maude's depot in Oatnedral Square eased up even more yesterday. iSo doubt this is m somo measure duo to the fact that the other eleven depots are getting more and more into working order, but many of tho workers regard it as a sign also that tho worst oi the epidemic has passed. Of course, there is still a considerable amount of work to do, and a fairly steady stream of rehei: cars was arriving and departing all tho morning. The various workers at tno depot were also kept busy.

HELP WANTED TO-DAY

Nurso Maude's needs to-day are a niueo to take charge of the Oxford. Hospital, another at iSpnnglield, a third to take charge of the Kuia.poi Hospital, nurses and helpers for v \ aiau, and tor other country districts, and domestic helpers, to do ordinary household work in houses whore womenfolk are down. iNurso Maude is in a position to supply men for milking and other farm work on farms where the influenza has laid up the men. Fewer ambulance cases wore recorded yesterday. This is regarded as significant, as tho measure of relief from suburban depots yesterday was tho same as on Thursday.
