The "Rev 11. Allen Job. who has been seriously ill with influenza, was reported last* night to be improving and to be now out, of danger.
Or Mac Gibbon, who was in charge of the auxiliary hospital at the Royal Hotel, was reported to be much better yesterday but Mrs Mac Gibbon, who has been attending Mm, is now laid up with influenza.
A telegram from Auckland announces the death from influenza of Mr Joseph M'Ma.hon, picture theatre proprietor. Mr M'Mahon was well known throughout the Dominion in connection with theatre enterprises.
Mr J. F. Collins, chief clerk in the General Post Office, Christchurch, and a prominent member of tho Citizens' Defence Corps and other patriotic organisations, has been dangerously ill from influenza, followed by pneumonia, and bronchitis. He recovered consciousness yesterday after having been unconscious for two weeks. He was reported to have greatly improved last night.
