Bishop Brodie has announced that mass will be celebrated in tho grounds of the Roman Catholic Cathedral and St 'Mary's Church, Manchester Street, at 9.30 a.m. to-morrow.

Jt is announced that another enemy Bimo was destroyed off North Cape on Saturday. Tho Government has decided that alien soldiers who havo loyally served abroad shall be allowed to take out papers of naturalisation. Tho Government steamers which were to bo employed in the ferry service to Lytleiton cannot get crows. Men are available, but they demand rales equivalent to 30s per day, winch tho Governme/nt refuses to pay.

Plans are in readiness for a rapid demobilisation of tho Reinforcements, statcß the Wellington correspondent oi tho " Lyftclton Times." As soon as the epidemic permits of transport facilities, it in expected that 500 men will be sent daily from Feather stem, and JSOO from Trcnthatn.
