It is officially announced that' Ger« man women have appealed to Americas Women to intercede for a modification of tho cinnistice terms in order to prevent famine in Germany. (Received November 15, 11.35 p.m.) WASHINGTON, November 15. Th* German women's appeal is addressed to the President's wife. The appeal said, "If the. terms are- not modified. General Pershing, in the name of the United States Government, invested Marshal Foch a* a'special parade at Benlis with the American Distinguished Service Medal. General Ptershing assured Marshal Fooh that the great services he had rendered the United States never would be forgotten. Marshal Foch, replying, said: "The name of the Mouse may be inscribed proudry upon the American flag." It was impossible' to forget the services of the United States when it placed all its troops at his disposal during th« tragic days of March last.
