ORDER REQUIRING THE CLOSING CP BUILDINGS FOR THE PREVENTION OP SPREAD OF A DANGEROUS INPECTIOUS DISEASE—to wit INFLUENZA. PURSUANT to Section 18 of the Public Health Act, 1009, and tho special powers conferred on mo by his Excellency tho Governor-General, I, Herbert Chcsson, District Health Officer, hereby require that all places and buildings within the Canter-bury-Westland Health District enumerated in tho schedule below, be isolated by being closed until further notice During the period of such isolation no person shall enter any such building save for Ihe purpose of cleansing or disinfecting the same, or for Bouio other purpose directed by mo:— THEATRES. PICTURE THEATRES. DANCING HALLS, BILLIARD SALOONS. SHOOTING GALLERIES. CONCERT BOOMS. PUBLIC HALLS. LIBRARIES. AND OTHER PLACES OF ENTERTAIN.MENT. ALSO, ALL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE BCHOOLS, SUNDAY SCHOOLS, COLLEGES OR OTHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS. ALL PLACES USED FOR RACE MEETINGS, SHOWS; OR EXHIBITIONS OP ANY KIND. ALSO, ALL CHURCHES, CHAPELS AND OTHER PLACES USED FOR RELIGIOUS SERVICES. AND ANY PLACE NOT INCLUDED IN THE ABOVE SCHEDULE WHICH IS, OR MAY BE USED FOR PUBLIC MEETINGS OR GATHERINGS. ALSO.
