The Shipping Controller announces that Government control of merchant shipping will not continue after the war longer than is necessary to provide for the extraordinary conditions arising out of the war. Privately owned ship 3 will bo released as soon as the tonnage available is considered sufficient to provide for essential national shipping eervices. _____
