-■ MONTHLY MEETING. The Christchuroh Domains Board met yesarday, Mr H. J. Beswick presiding. The curator (Mr J. Young) reported that ihe work of cultivating the land in Korth Par would b* finished next week, and a start ■would be made on sowing the potatoes... The work in ho gardens was also well in hand. The report was adopted. The chairman stated that owing to the shortage of labour it had been found impossible to make a start on the sinking oi the deep well on the new cricket ground at Hospital Corner. Hilson) stated that the curator was strongly opposed to dogs being taken in'o the gardens .under any conditions.
