SWIMMING.

LYTTELTON LADIES' CLUB. The twelfth annual meeting of the Lyttelton' Ladies' Swimming Cuib was held iast evening, Mrs Co.in Cook (president) in the chair. There was a good attendance. The socio.ary's report showed that several members had resigned on account of leaving the port, but the mombcrahip was now over 100. The balance-sheet showed l a credit balance of £4 8s lid. A donation of £5 had been made to the Lady Liverpool Fund, and the club had received letters of thanks from soldiers who received parcels. Officers were elected as follows—President, Mra Colin Cook; vicepresidents (six were elected); honorary secretary, Miea M. Cook; honorary treasurer, Mrs E. E. Curtis: captain. Miss B. Harris; deputy captain, Miss L. Brown; committee, Mesdamos Hutchinson, Duff, Marshall, Weastel! and T. Maher, Miseea Bundy and Hutchinson. It was dee'd'ed to open the season at-Corsair Bay on November 30, and to commence " beach aftomoons " on November 12.
