NAVY DAY.

Tho Canterbury Branch of the Navy League is making an appeal for assistance to the War Fund, the principal objects of which are to give financial relief to dependents of officers and men who have lost their lives in action or under circumstances equivalent to action during the war; to give relief to seamen and marines who have been seriously wounded or incapacitated during the war; to provide for the education of children of officers arid seamen who have .lost their lives in action op on active service during the war. Tomorrow has been set aside for a street fair and sales .of badges.
