MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
CHRISTCHURCH,
. Mr S. E. M’Carthy, S.M., presided at the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. George Kelby M’Kenzio pleaded guilty to a charge of having been disorderly whilst drunk in Tuam Street on Saturday night. Accused was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon, on the proviso that lie. agreed to the issue of a prohibition order.
James Thorpo was also charged with be-ins; disorderly whilst dnmk in Tuarn Street on Saturday night and with having used obscene language. Accused said ho would plead guilty to the first charge, but, did hot remember anything _ about the second. Accused •was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when, called upon, on 'the understanding that lie consented to a prohibition orde" being issued against him. " ‘
