It was decided to grant the request providing the ground is in good order, and that tho game starts at 1.40. Mr C. TiKeyshort was appointed referee. Mr R. J. Stirling forwarded correspondence in reference to the Auckland and Canterbury match at Auckland, on September 14. It was decided that tho team leave on Tuesday, September 8, and Mr A. E. Hooper was appointed manager.

The Bocretory of tho Auckland League notified that as tho Ponsonby Club were vi .ting Christchurch, iho visit of (he Auckland team had reluctantly been cancelled, and all arrangements made for the Canterbury team to play on tho Domain. The chairman stated that Messrs H. Harper and F. Imorson, two members of tho executive, had gono into camp ou Tuesua i.st. Appreciation of their services was recorded. It was decided to miggost that either Messrs A. Ferguson or T. Cunningham bo appointed to referee the Auckland and Canterbury fixture. A vote of thanks wae recorded to the Hornby Club for the supply of jerseys. The Selection Committee notified tbjit tho following members had been selected to go to Auckland, and they ‘were requested to attend at Sydenham Park at five o’clock cn Tuesday and Thursday evenings:— E. A. Gasson, S. Smith, IV. G. Mitchell, W. Smvtho, C. Kruse, J. Young, F. Sales, W. King, F. King, F. Ball, H. Hill, A. Bench, L. Moffatt and E. Zimmormnn.

It was decided that Mr C. H. B. Poore and tho secretary control all arrangements for next Saturday’s fixture, and a committee was appointed to meet tho visitors on arrival.
