[Pur. Press Association'.] AVELLINGTON, August 6The Hon D. H. Guthrie informed a reporter to-dav that there wero upwards of thirty thousand tons of tallow in storo in New Zealand, and the heavy accumulation was becoming embarrassing. Strong representations had been made to Mr Massey in the matter, and ho had given an assurance that ho was using his best endeavours to have the congestion relieved. The whole matter was engaging tho attention of Mr Massey and Sir Joseph AVard in England at present.
