In the course of i'a report, tho Works and Traffic Committee stated that a deputation from the Tramway Union had requested that a 10 per cent war bonus should be givon w its members. The conditions had not chntnred materially since the agree* mont wa3 made,, and the committee therefore had decided that it could not see its way to comply wit h tho request.' The recent election had again shown the advisability of a readjustment lof boundaries of tho electoral sub-dis-tricts, and the ounstion of improvement in that and other matters was now under consideration. The report was adopted. The reveuue account presented for the period April 1 to .Tune 9, 1918, showed a,surplus (plus rates from snecia! ratinr aress £324) of £SB93, in comparison with last year's tota". of £1657 (plus rates from special rating areas £328).
