The veasel_ will return to Wellington again in the evening. The 'Wootton sailed last night for Wellington, and is expected back on Thursday. She will leave again tho following night for the north. Tho Kini, which was hold back in port over Sunday owing to the wind not, permitting discharge of her coal, finished her disloading operations last night, and is expected to leave for Westport early this morning. The Westralia sailed last night for Dunedin. Bluff and Melbourne. The colliers Kamona ond Kowhai are wafting outside of'Greymouth to enter that port a« noon as tho bar improves and load coal for Lyttelton.

The Breeze, which was expected' at Lyttelton yesterday, has been delayed in the norih, and ia now clue here from Wanganui to-mor-row to load for Napier diroct.

Mr R. Burns, president of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, has decided to make further representations to the Government as to tha inadacjuaey of the shipping between Auckland and Australia. A nascnger ship is also wanted. Advice received from Svdnoy says that 7000 tons of freight was awaiting shipment for Auckland. The Tarawcra, which arrived in Auckland about the middle of last week, brought from 1500 to 2000 tons of this quantity, the Makurit will bring 1500 to 1700 tons, and another 1500 tons has- been promised by the Niagara, but it is anticipated that in the meantime another 5000 tons will have accumulated.
