KAIAPOI CLUB

The annua! mooting of tho Kaiapoi Bowling Club was held last evening, Mr G. A. Kis-s----iing presiding over a fair attendance. The report stated that tho year had been a sucocsßful one, considering exisiing conditions. Iho membership of the club stood at forty-oovon. A rink "kipped by R. Wy.w, with E. Mtonk. ,L Mealings and E. Hall, had won tho Centre championships.

Tho report was adopted. ■ Officers were elected as follows:—President, Mr G. A. Kissling; vice-presidents, Mr E. Monk and Dr J. H. Crawshaw; committee, Messrs F. L. Parnham, R. Wylio and A. Pearce; auditor, Mr L. G. Blookwell; Centre Mi L. G. Blackwcll; eocretary, Mr J. B. Wvlie; treasurer, Mr L. C. B. Fuldaeth; Committee, Messrs R. Wyao and E. Monk. Five new members were electod. Votes of thanks were accorded to ownera of ntotor-cars for conveying teams, to cutaiiicera, lady supporters and the greenkeener. The club prir.es were then presented as follows :—•Handicap singles. F. Parnham; championship singles, R.Wvlie; handicap doubles, L. B. Evans and E. Monk; champion doubles, E. Monk and G. Hall; singles (handicap of 8 or over), W. Reeves.

RANGIORA CLUB. TII9 General Committee of the .Rartgiors Bowling, Tennis and Croouot Club met last evening. There were, eighteen members prosent, and Mr J. Marshal", (president) was in the chair. One resignation was accepted, and new members were elee'ed. Mr G. Geddis \vfls reappointed caretaker of the club's premises.
