The, Radical Council adopted a* resolution complaining that Mr W. M. Hughes has not explained his personal attacks on British politicians. It describes him as tho instrument of reactionary elements who are discredited in Australia, and as a bitter partisan, who is abusing the country's hospitality. .Merton's Metal Company has issued a writ for libal and slander against M» r .
