REINFORCEMENTS.

SECOND DIVISION. Official information received in Cliristchurch shows that at present there are 8864 reservists still to lo drawn from Class C in the Second Division. In the twonty-first ballot 5000 will bo drawn, and their names will be published in tho " Gazette " of August 21. The balance, 3864. will bo called mp and the names will be published in the " Gazette " of September IS. In addition, there probably will be 500 accretions of members of the First Division and of Classes A and B of the Second Division. There will be no drafts for camp in December. Tho Forty-ninth draft (January) will be open as from August 6 to recruits from ■'the Second Division, in order to give them the three months' leave thev h'>vc been promised. The l<orty-fiftl\ Forty-sixth; Forty-seventh and 'Forty-reishth drafts will rematn open to recruiting from volunteers until each draft proceeds to camp in its turn. Nineteen arid twenty-year-old recruits, on being passed for active service, will be sent forward wi*th the drafts leaving their groups later than twenty-eight days after they are attested.

The following dates have been fixed for'the concentration of drafts throughout the Dominion (the dates for Canterbury have not yet been fixed) : REINFORCEMENT DRAFTS. Forty-fifth—August 13 to 17. Forty-sixth—September 10 to 14. Forty-seventh—October 8 to 12. Forty-eighth—November 5 to U. Forty-ninth—Jaiuary 7. to 11. Fiftieth—-February 4 to 8. Fifty-first—March 4 to 8. Fifty-seventh—April 1 to 6. CI DRAFTS. Twelfth—August 27 to 30. Thirteenth—September 24 to 27. Fifteenth—November 19 to 22. Sixteenth—January 21 to 24. Seventeenth—February 18 to 21. Eighteenth—March 18 to 21.
