HOME AGAIN.

CANTERBURY SOLDIERS RETURN,

About one hundred and fifty Canterbury and Otago soldiers arrived at Lyttelton yesterday morning, and came on to Christchurch in a special train, reaching tho city shortly before 10 a.m. There was a fair crowd at tho station, consisting almost solely of relatives and friends of the returning men, and on the call of the Mayor three hearty cheers were given as a welcome as tho train came in. There was no speechifying or other formal ceremony of welcome. The Automobile Association, as is its custom, had about sixty cars in attendance to convoy the men to their homes, and the work of transport was accomplished with a minimum of delay. Tho contingent, which was in command of Lieutenant H. AV. AVobb, contains many men of the Main Body, several of whom were wounded in the fighting at Messines and Passehendaole. Almost all are now convalescent, and there were no oot cases.
